This was a unique project — the house was round! The curved block walls presented not just a challenge for installation but also a puzzle for layout. We decided to take our cue from the ceiling, which featured beautiful wood beams set like spokes of a wheel. Mirroring those spokes we set planks along the same axis radiating out around the center of the house, and set the flooring between each spoke, following the curve of the house. The result was exceptional and stunning. Curved steps down into a sunken living room also added architectural flair and style. Against the walls there was no trim, so the block was undercut and the flooring slid neatly underneath. A waterfall granite slab and beautiful kitchen also set everything off. A real showcase!
