This contemporary home in Talking Rock needed more than new floors – it was built on both slab and wood subfloor and these two did not meet flush. The previous flooring had failed as a result. Many hours of concrete grinding labor and bags of feather finish were needed to remedy this original construction error. The old rustic flooring was replaced with a clean, modern, rich exotic mahogany from Brazil. The red tones and warmth of the flooring set off all the other colors in the house, making for a stunning contrast.
